Major I-10 Traffic Detours Scheduled This Week in Jacksonville

As part of the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) I-10 from I-295 to I-95 widening project, detours are scheduled at interchanges within the project limits from Tuesday, May 30 through Friday, Jun. 2 while crews perform bridge construction operations, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting.

I-10 East Exit to I-295 closed: Tuesday, May 30 through Thursday, June 1 from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Drivers will continue on I-10 east, take the Lane Avenue exit, turn right on Lane Avenue and turn right on Normandy Boulevard to connect with I-295.

I-295 South Exit to I-10 East: Tuesday, May 30 through Thursday, June 1 from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., drivers will be detoured to the Normandy Boulevard exit, right on Normandy Boulevard and take the I-295 north ramp to connect with I-10 east.

Cassat Avenue at I-10: Tuesday, May 30 through Friday, June 2 from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Northbound drivers will be detoured right on Lenox Avenue, left on Edgewood Avenue and left on Highway Avenue to reconnect with Cassat Avenue. Southbound drivers will turn right on Highway Avenue, left on Lane Avenue and left on Normandy Boulevard to reconnect with Cassat Avenue.

McDuff Avenue at I-10 closed: Tuesday, May 30 through Friday, June 2 from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Northbound McDuff Avenue will be detoured right on Rosselle Street, left on Stockton Street and left on Edison Avenue to reconnect McDuff Avenue. Southbound drivers will be detoured left on Edison Avenue, right on Stockton Street and right on Rosselle Street to reconnect with McDuff Avenue.

This $174.5 million project is scheduled to be completed in early 2025, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting.
