The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces scheduled lane closures associated with the I-10 Widening and Reconstruction Project in East Baton Rouge Parish. These measures are essential to facilitate ongoing construction activities and will primarily impact nighttime traffic patterns from Friday, July 17, through Monday, July 20, 2026. All operations remain subject to weather conditions and may be adjusted accordingly.
The following full closures will be implemented nightly between 10:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m.:
- I-110 Southbound Laurel Street Off-Ramp
- I-110 Southbound S. 10th Street On-Ramp
- I-110 Southbound Terrace Avenue Off-Ramp
- I-110 Southbound from S. 10th Street to Terrace Avenue
Motorists are advised to plan their routes in advance, allow additional travel time, and exercise heightened vigilance while traversing construction zones. The safety of the traveling public and construction personnel remains a paramount priority; drivers should remain alert for work crews and equipment at all times.
