Multiple Detours Scheduled as Part of Florida’s I-10 Widening Project

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) reports that, as part of their I-10 from I-295 to I-95 widening project, closures and detours are scheduled at multiple interchanges within the project limits through Thursday, January 15 while crews perform construction work, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting. Please note that schedules may be adjusted to avoid conflicting detour traffic along the routes.

Closures scheduled Monday, January 12 from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.:

  • Irene Street on-ramp to I-10 West closed: Drivers will detour to Edison Avenue and make a right on Forest Street to access I-10 West.
  • McDuff Avenue on-ramp to I-10 East closed: Drivers will detour to Roselle Street then east to Stockton Street to access I-10 East.

Closure scheduled through Thursday, January 15 from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.:

  • I-10 West off-ramp to U.S. 17 (Roosevelt Boulevard) closed: Drivers will detour to McDuff Avenue and make a left on McDuff Avenue to access U.S. 17.

Closures scheduled Tuesday, January 13 and Wednesday, January 14 from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.:

  • I-10 West off-ramp to Lane Avenue closed: Drivers will detour to I-295 North and exit Commonwealth Avenue east to access Lane Avenue.
  • I-10 West off-ramp to McDuff Avenue closed: Drivers will detour to Luna Street, make a right on Luna Street and a right on Lenox Avenue to access McDuff Avenue.
