Road Closures, Detours for I-10 Work in El Paso Area Thru Friday

Texas I-10 Construction | I-10 Exit Guide

The Texas Department of Transportation reports the following I-10 traffic impacts associated with construction and maintenance operations in the El Paso area through Friday, May 6.

  • Through Friday, May 6 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily
    • A full closure of Ramp G, which connects I-10 westbound to I-110 and US 62, at Ramp H, which connects I-10 eastbound to US 54 northbound, will be in place. DETOUR: Traffic should proceed to US 54 northbound and use the Pershing Drive turnaround to access US 54 southbound and then proceed to Ramp D, which connects US 54 southbound to I-10 eastbound.
    • A closure of the US 54 southbound Bridge 11 lane to Alameda Avenue will be in place.
    • Crews will be performing bridge painting work.
  • Wednesday, May 4, from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
    • A full closure of Ramp D, which connects US 54 southbound to I-10 eastbound, and Juarez Bridge 15, will be in place. DETOUR: Traffic should proceed to US 54 southbound to the Paisano Drive turnaround and use the I-10 eastbound entrance ramp. Juarez traffic should proceed to the Trowbridge Drive turnaround to access I-10 westbound and proceed to Ramp A, which connects I-10 westbound to US 54 northbound, and Ramp F, which connects I-10 westbound to I-110 southbound.
    • A closure of the right two lanes on I-10 westbound between Ramp C and Copia Street will be in place.
    • A full closure of Ramp C, which connects US 54 northbound to I-10 westbound, will be in place. DETOUR: Traffic should proceed to the Pershing Drive turnround to access US 54 southbound and then use Ramp K, which connects US 54 southbound to I-10 westbound.
    • A full closure of the Copia Street exit will be in place. DETOUR: Traffic should proceed to the Piedras Street exit.
    • Crews will be performing bridge joint repair work.
  • Thursday, May 5 from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
    • A full closure of Ramp D, which connects US 54 southbound to I-10 eastbound and Juarez Bridge 15, will be in place. DETOUR: Traffic should proceed to US 54 southbound to the Paisano Drive turnaround and proceed to Gateway North to Alameda Avenue and take Raynolds Street to access I-10.
    • A full closure of Ramp J, which connects I-110 to I-10 eastbound, will be in place. The I-10 eastbound entrance ramp at Gateway North will be fully closed. DETOUR: Traffic should proceed to Gateway North to Alameda Avenue and take Raynolds Street to access I-10.
    • A right lane closure on I-110 northbound from Bridge 8 to the Ramp J gore. DETOUR: All traffic should proceed to US 54 northbound to the Pershing Drive turnaround, then proceed to US 54 southbound to Paisano Drive turnaround and proceed to Gateway North to Alameda Avenue and take Raynolds Street to access I-10.
    • Crews will be performing bridge joint repair work.
