The Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT) reports that, in order to maximize travel capacity and minimize delays for the Thanksgiving holiday, they are halting all non-emergency lane closures from Wednesday afternoon (November 27) to Monday morning (December 2).
Some closures will remain in place for safety though – drive carefully through all work zones.
