The Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT) reports that it will reduce I-10 eastbound to one lane, with intermittent entrance and exit ramp closures, for striping operations.

The closures begin at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, March 29, and end at 5:00 a.m. Monday, March 30. Closures affect eastbound lanes from the Jourdan River Bridge to County Farm Road in Hancock and Harrison counties. Brief ramp closures will occur in the work zone as well.

The work supports the I-10 widening project to improve pavement durability and safety.

Motorists should use alternate ramps during closures, consider other routes, and watch for workers.
