The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that the I-10 Loyola Drive eastbound exit ramp is open to the traveling public. The entrance and exit ramps had a pre-scheduled closure overnight on August 26 for bridge deck construction and were re-opened as scheduled at 5:00 a.m. on August 27.

Any information online stating that there is a scheduled interstate closure this evening is incorrect. There will not be any closures associated with this work for at least the next week.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
