The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development wants to remind motorists to monitor 511la.org for all road closures and incidents throughout the state. There are no plans to close Louisianaā€™s state roads due to the COVID-19 virus. Infrastructure is vital during these times for the delivery of goods and services.

Please stay home unless you need to go out for essential items such as food, medicine, medical care, or work. You can get more information from the Governorā€™s stay-at-home order here.

DOTD advises motorists to get their travel information from a reliable source and check 511la.org for up-to-date travel information. You can also email questions to [email protected].
