Lane Restrictions, Detours, Reduced Speeds for I-10 Construction in New Mexico

New Mexico 1- 10 Construction | I-10 Traffic | I-10 Exit Guide

The New Mexico Department of Transportation reports the following I-10 construction traffic impacts for the first week in January, 2017.

  • I-10 Deming ā€“ Mile Marker 91.7 to 94.5
    The New Mexico Department of Transportation along with La Calerita Construction will be performing bridge rehabilitation and roadway reconstruction operations to Interstate 10 (I-10) in Luna County; Construction is expected to be completed by summer 2017. Interstate traffic will encounter a detour while work is being performed with the initial detour in the eastbound lanes. Detour will be utilized starting in January. An 11ā€™ width lane restriction is in effect. Motorists are asked to reduce speed, obey posted signs, and use extreme caution, and be cautious of personnel in the area.
  • I-10 Lordsburg ā€“ Mile Marker 29
    The New Mexico Department of Transportation along with James Hamilton Construction will be performing bridge repair work and partial reconstruction of the roadway. Traffic has been moved back with no detour in place. Motorists are asked to reduce speed, obey posted signs, and use extreme caution, and be cautious of personnel in the area.
