Lane Closures, Detours on I-10 in El Paso

Texas I-10 Construction | I-10 Exit Guide

The Texas Department of Transportation reports the following short term closures on I-10 in El Paso. Traffic alerts posted pertain to closures located within the six-mile project limits of GO 10 — between North Mesa Street and Executive Center Boulevard.

  • I-10 West
    Overnight: Oct. 3-6. 9 pm each night to 5 am each morning:
    I-10 Westbound will be reduced to one lane between the Executive Center Overpass and the Sunland Park Overpass.
  • I-10 East
    12 Hours. 5 pm Oct. 2 to 5 am Oct. 3:
    I-10 Eastbound will be completely closed between the Sunland Park Exit Ramp (Exit 13) to the Executive Center Overpass. Alternate route: Transmountain Rd (Loop 375). Detour route: I-10 Traffic will exit at Sunland Park (Exit 13), take North Mesa Street (SH 20) south toward Executive Center Blvd. Traffic will be able to re-enter I-10 Eastbound from Executive Center Blvd. Follow the road signs in place.
