I-10 Lane, Ramp Closures in Phoenix Scheduled March 20-23

The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) reports that drivers should plan for the following restrictions and closures as part of the I-10 cross streets pavement improvements project:

  • The Eastbound I-10 on-ramp at Seventh Street will be closed from 10:00 p.m. Friday, March 20, to 5:00 a.m. Monday, March 23. The following restrictions will also be in place during this time:
    • The eastbound I-10 off-ramp at Seventh Street will be narrowed to one lane. 
    • Northbound Seventh Street will be narrowed to two lanes between Roosevelt Street and I-10. 
    • Southbound Seventh Street will be narrowed to two lanes between McDowell Road and I-10.
  • Westbound Ray Road will continue to be narrowed to two lanes between I-10 and 48th Street, weekdays from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. through Tuesday, March 24.

Upcoming Restrictions and Closures

  • Warner Road will be narrowed to one lane in each direction between I-10 and 51st Street for work in the median, weekdays from 6:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. beginning Monday, March 23, and ending Tuesday, March 31. 
  • Eastbound Chandler Boulevard will be narrowed to two lanes between I-10 and 50th Street, weekdays from 6:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. beginning Wednesday, March 25, and ending Wednesday, April 1.
  • The westbound I-10 on-ramp at Seventh Street will be closed from 10:00 p.m. Friday, March 27, to 5:00 a.m. Monday, March 30.
    • Southbound Seventh Street will be narrowed to two lanes between McDowell Road and I-10 during this time.

ADOT advises drivers to plan ahead, allow extra time and use the designated detour route while closures are in place.

Schedules are subject to change based on weather and other unforeseen factors.
