I-10 Detours at Multiple Locations in Jacksonville Begin May 27

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) reports that, as part of their I-10 from I-295 to I-95 widening project, closures and detours are scheduled at multiple interchanges within the project limits Tuesday, May 27 through Thursday, May 29 while crews perform construction work, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting. Please note that schedules may be adjusted to avoid conflicting detour traffic along the routes.

Closures scheduled Tuesday, May 27 and Wednesday, May 28 from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.:

  • I-10 West exit to U.S. 17 (Roosevelt Boulevard) closed: Drivers will detour to the McDuff Avenue exit and make a left on McDuff Avenue to connect with U.S. 17.
  • U.S. 17 (Roosevelt Boulevard) on-ramp to I-10 East closed: Drivers will detour on Roosevelt Boulevard to McDuff Avenue north to access I-10 East.
  • Irene Street on-ramp to I-10 West closed: Drivers will detour to Edison Avenue and make a right on Forest Street to access I-10 West.

Closures scheduled Thursday, May 29 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.:

  • McDuff Avenue on-ramp to I-10 East closed: Drivers will detour to Roselle Street then east to Stockton Street to access I-10 East.
  • I-10 off-ramp to McDuff Avenue closed: Drivers will detour to Stockton Street, go right on Stockton Street and right on Irene Street to access I-10 West to exit McDuff Avenue.
