The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces lane closures as part of the I-10 Widening Project in East Baton Rouge Parish. These closures, which are necessary for the progression of the project, will affect night traffic patterns. DOTD advises motorists that construction activities are contingent on weather conditions and may be subject to change.
I-10 Closures
- I-10 Westbound Dalrymple Drive Off-Ramp
- Thru Friday, May 23
- Full ramp closure from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
- Dalrymple Drive from E. Lakeshore Drive to March Street
- Tuesday, May 20 to Friday, May 23
- Full nightly closure from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
- I-10 Westbound South Acadian Thruway to Dalrymple Drive
- Tuesday, May 20 to Friday, May 23
- First lane closed at 7:00 p.m., followed by a second lane closure at 10:00 p.m. All lanes will be opened by 5:00 a.m.
- I-10 Westbound Acadian Thruway On-Ramp
- Tuesday, May 20 to Friday, May 23
- Full ramp closure from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

DOTD urges drivers to plan accordingly, allowing extra travel time and exercising caution when driving through construction zones. The safety of both the traveling public and construction workers is of utmost importance, and motorists should stay alert for work crews and their equipment.
