We stopped here quite by accident. We were starving and got off at the closest exit. We were a little hesitant but said why not?
The place is unique… it’s a glorified shed. Very relaxed and casual with blues music playing in the background while you eat. The staff was friendly, service was quick and the food was great! Best BBQ I’ve had in a long time!

We were seated quickly. Our Hostess and waitress were prompt and very friendly. The food was outstanding. Our steaks were cooked exactly the way we wanted them and they were delicious. This is really a great place to dine and it’s less expensive than it looks… a great value for the money.
We were told by several others that Texas Land and Cattle Steak House is also a geat place for lunch! We’ll be back!

Popeye’s Louisiana Kitchen – Various locations along Interstate 10
PaulT writes: “We live up in the Northeast where Popeye’s are few and far between… so when we’re down south Popeye’s is a must stop. There are Popeye’s all along Interstate 10 and we’ve probably stopped at most of them in our twenty plus years traveling between Florida and California”
“Great spicy chicken and sides. I love the dirty rice. This is my favorite fast food by far! What’s more, if you go online to their website (www.popeyes.com) you will probably find a coupon or two. “
