Farm’s House Restaurant – Banning, California

We were honestly just looking for a quick bite while passing through Banning on I-10, and I’m so glad we pulled off (exit 96) and found Farm’s House Restaurant. This place has such a warm, homey feel to it – exactly what you want after hours on the highway with restless kids in the backseat.

The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming, not the kind of rushed, indifferent service you sometimes get at roadside spots. The portions were huge, which my husband was thrilled about, and the prices were really reasonable for what you get. We ordered some classic breakfast and comfort food items, and everything came out hot and tasted like it was made with actual care. The biscuits and gravy were a real standout – thick, hearty, and delicious.

The restaurant itself has a casual, unpretentious vibe that felt comfortable for our whole family, kids included. Nothing fancy, but clean and cozy with that old-school diner charm we don’t see enough of anymore. Our server kept our drinks filled and checked on us without being overbearing, which I always appreciate. It’s the kind of local gem that makes you wish you lived nearby so you could become a regular. If you’re driving through on I-10 and need a real sit-down meal instead of another fast food stop, do yourself a favor and pull off here – you won’t regret it!
