The New mexico Department of Transportation has announced that the pavement rehabilitation project on Interstate 10, in Las Cruces to Texas State Line will result in traffic delays.
The project is located from mileposts 146.00 to 164.45 (Texas State Line). The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) along with Mountain States Constructors, Inc. (Contractor) will be performing pavement rehabilitation operations along the I-10 corridor between Las Cruces and the Texas State Line beginning Tuesday, February 23, 2016.
The Contractor will be working on milling and inlaying operations in the EASTBOUND direction. To avoid delays for the traveling public, please be advised that working hours for the Contractor, while traveling eastbound, will be approximately 10:00 am – 10:00 pm Monday through Friday.
I-10 will be reduced to a single lane during operations and motorists are advised to use caution and reduce speed while nearing and passing through the work zone. The eastbound on/off-ramps at the Mesquite Exit are expected to be intermittently be CLOSED as paving operations pass through on Thursday, February 25, 2016.
