The Louisiana Department of Transportation reports the the eastbound Elysian Fields off ramp on Interstate 10 will temporarily close on Thursday, August 4 for maintenance work.
The ramp will be closed from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. I-10 motorists will need to use alternate exit ramps. Two nearby exit ramps that are convenient detours are the ramps for Orleans Avenue or Claiborne Avenue.
The Louisiana Department of Transportation urges drivers to be cautious of work crews on the highway.
