Full Lane Closures, Detours for I-10 Construction in Texas

Texas I-10 Construction | I-10 Exit Guide

The Texas Department of Transportation reports the following lane and ramp closures associated with I-10 construction in the El Paso area.

Tuesday, January 3, through Thursday, January 5, and Sunday, January 8, through Thursday, January 12, 2017

9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (nighttime)

  • Full closure of I-10 westbound mainlanes
  • Left lane closure I-10 eastbound between Mesa exit ramp to Sunland Park
  • Tuesday night only: Full closure of Mesa intersection in both directions, then open again

Crews will be working on deck panels and steel overhang.

Tuesday, January 3, through Thursday, January 5, and Sunday, January 8

9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (nighttime)

  • Full closure of I-10 eastbound mainlanes at Sunland Park and also of Resler on-ramp

Crews will be stripping the overhang and false deck at Paisano bridge.

Detour: Off at Sunland and back on at Executive; El Paso Police Department officers will direct traffic.

Tuesday, Januarty 3, through Friday, January 6

9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (daytime)

  • Left lane closure on I-10 eastbound near Resler

Crews will be working on the new Resler direct connect.
